Default Mamba max pro question

I got a wraith yesterday and it came with a mamba max pro and tekin roc412 3100. When I got the truck everything was working fine except the brakes they were very strong. The only thing I did was take the battery out of transmitter that I can think of, but now the only thing it does is try to power up then it's starts blinking. Sometimes the blinking is yellow green, sometimes yellow red, sometimes it's all three. For radio gear I have a flysky gt3c and it was also included with truck. I tried to calibrate with the esc it will beep for forwards, reverse and neutral, but will not move forwards or reverse.

Since you've tried recalibration, try another receiver or rebind the receiver you have.

Make sure your throttle trim is centered. Mmp won't calibrate with it off center.

If there are any other things in the system, bec light/winch controller, pull them out and try with just the esc, servo, and rx

Make sure you're calibrating with a full battery. It may be hitting the lvc for the lipo

Google mmp error codes to try and understand your diagnostics.

http://www.rogershobbycenter.com/cas...shootingguide/

From these it seems like you have a lvc due to low battery and the esc may not be calibrating due to that.

Good luck

Thanks for the info and link. I did charge up the transmitter and the lipo last night when I was messing with it to make sure that wasn't the issue. I printed out the manual last night also haven't had a chance to read it over but I will when I get home from work. Is there a wY to reset settings to default on the esc and the radio?

if you dont have a castle link, either get one or maybe see if a lhs has one and they can reset the esc for ya.

you really need the castle link to get the most out of your mmp.

Ok so I hooked my axial radio gear to the esc and it works fine? Do I need to bind my flysky again? And do I need the bind plug for that if so where can I get one

Well it's receiving signal because I have steering and can get the truck to move with the trim or EPA settings. Seems as if it's not receiving throttle signal now?Anyone running a mamba max pro with a gt3c I can get settings from lol.

On your radio set the trim for the throttle channel to neutral, then go over to EPA settins and set those to max both high and reverse. Then recalibrate the radio/esc as normal.

Did that still nothing. I flipped steering and throttle plugs around and using steering the esc works fine but throttle still doesn't control steering. When I adjusted epas I was able to set both forward and backward on the transmitter. Now is my receiver shot or transmitter?

Looks like it's the transmitter. Made a bind plug and bound a old flysky channel to the receiver and it works fine. I was really liking the feel of the gt3c and the fact it has a lipo that's awesome, now to figure out what radio to run now.
