Default motor voltage?

Hello. I´ve got a 3v Motor and a 6V ESC. Can I connect both? Or will be the motor burned?

Thank you.

Default Re: motor voltage?

I'd use a 4.8V NiMH or 3.7V LiPo battery and avoid running the motor on full throttle.
If using 3.7V battery then you might need a voltage amplifier to feed the Rx.
