Cant get castle link software to download on windows XP
 

I have tried a bunch of times it all goes fine tell i get to last step and click on install. Anyone else have this problem?http://tapatalk.imageshack.com/v2/15...03c6313145.jpg
This pops up aftet i click install every time!

Make sure you have the correct permissions, try running it as administrator.

I totally swiped it and installed windows xp again. And still nothing. I only have the administrator account on computer.

You may need an earlier version for XP.

This is a tip from Castle for Vista, it may work for your XP-

Castle Link is not officially supported on Windows Vista at this time, however, some customers have reported getting it to work by using the following method. For those using Windows Vista (32bit only, 64bit will not work), rather than hitting "run" and downloading/running the software, save the install file to your desktop. Right click on the install file that is on the desktop and choose "run as administrator". The Castle Link software should install properly after that.

Saw some elsewhere saying castle sent them a link to the version before this one to install on thier xp machine. And he said it worked for him. Maybe thats the case with mine also.

it could also be apart of the whole microsoft doesnt support xp any more as of 2007 if remember right so you may have to see about getting a copy of windows 7. just my 2 cents:mrgreen:
