How many ohm potentiometer for servo?

Any of you electrical engineers out there know how many ohm's I need for a standard 5-6v servo's potentiometer? The potentiometer in my Hitec 645mg broke from using too long of a servo horn screw so I'm going to try and replace it, but I don't know how many ohms are necessary. Thanks in advance! :)

it should be ink stamped somewhere on the pot body where the shaft exits, im pretty sure the ones i have removed have been 5k ohm.

no problem, hopefully that should be in the ballpark area.

im sure the last hitec i took apart had the 5k pot and was marked but if not we can resort to a multimeter if needed.
