|  fx-r with a 30t pro and 3s
Can the Tekin fx-r with the Tekin 30t pro handle 3s? Specs say no lower than 35t but the two are sold in a combo together and doesn't mention limiting to 2s. Should I put the bigger capacitor on the esc? I have searched many times in this forum and found nothing asking this question. Sorry if this specific question has been asked before. |

Run it! It's good.. I ran a 30t and 16t crawlmaster on 4s thru a fxr. Of course, I put a higher voltage cap on it. Which is what a cap does.. It takes care of voltage.. The stock cap is 16v.. I bumped up to a 25v cap, so I could run 4s.. Lots and lots of heavy running, never a issue. |

I was asked by Tekin to kill controllers. Hard to do, if using an external BEC. And realize for a few years people were running two 35 turn motors to one controller. That's a theoretical 17.5 turn load. No problem. Jim from Tekin (the boss) said they purposely, very conservatively rate their stuff. |

All day long! I have run 30t brood hand wounds on 4s through an fxr with a larger cap and external bec for a few years now.
