help identify this bec 1 Attachment(s) Picked up this years ago in a trade. no case and no identifying marks on the wiring. my gut tells me the arrow on the right is the input but I truly don't know. Any input would be greatly appreciated |
Re: help identify this bec I have no idea what BEC it is, but you have looked at the connections on the board to see if there's some printed help for in/out? |
Re: help identify this bec 2 Attachment(s) Thanks, but there is nothing printed on the board, a few more picks-- |
Re: help identify this bec No pins or connectors on the ends? |
Re: help identify this bec No pins or connectors. just cut wires. If I wire it backwards what's the worst that could happen? |
Re: help identify this bec Are you sure its a bec? All my bec's have 2 wires in (power and ground) and 3 wires coming out (power ground and signal). Your pic looks like there are only 4 wires. power and ground going in and out with no signal wire on the out. I would check to see if a wire was cut or desoldered from 1 of the sides. sometimes people cut off or remove the signal wire. If there is a cut or desoldered wire it will be on the output side of the bec. |
Re: help identify this bec The only reason for a signal wire is for programming. The 6v voltage regulator in my Highlift isn't adjustable, so therefore does not have a signal wire on the output. This one is probably the same way. |
Re: help identify this bec Took a guess and with fingers crossed it works. Thanks to all that took interest"thumbsup" |
