Thumbs up Crawler LED Lights

My V2 5" light bar arrived today from Crawler LED Lights and at first I was like WTF...an SMD strip stuck to a tiny piece of Delrin. Then I plugged it into a 3s pack and

DO NOT look directly into this light. I could barely see for ten minutes. I've done plenty with SMD strips...deck lighting, PC lighting, RC lighting...but nothing I've used compares to these in terms of sheer output. I was impressed.

First thing I did was make a couple brackets from 1/8" angle then I immediately filled the milled out pocket the SMD strip is set into with epoxy. I've managed to smash a diode in the past and I wanted to make sure these last for a while...at $53 that's the most I've spent on RC lighting...ever.

As the epoxy dried I continued rebuilding my rig and I did not get done till after midnight. So my first run with the FMJ was going to be a real test of the lighting...and I was not disappointed.

The rig took plenty of tumbles in the gravel and a close look at the light bar after all the abuse showed nary a scratch.

If you are handy enough to fab brackets this is a hella bright light for the money.
