Default reverse polarity?

So I picked up a mad torque MOA and decided to switch out the motors. I picked up 2 axial 55T. Hooked them up the same way the stocks came off. When I tested it, the tires on both axles were spinning in oposite directions.
I just switched the wires to reverse the polarity and now it's fine but it's still bothering me as to why this happened.
Any thoughts???

Uh, because one axle needs to spin in the opposite direction.

Wired correctly, the front wheels spin clockwise and the rears counter...

Then don't wire it "correctly". Not rocket science.

I expect you to then mention one motor spins sooner and or faster than the other…

I would say the stock motors were already set up for MOA and the replacements are not...like eeepee said..not rocket science..just switch the one set of wires...and go crawl

Exactly what I did. Was just trying to find out WHY and if there was a risk of damaging other components by doing do but by the sounds of it I'm fine thanks.
