I personally have three MT4's. All model slots full w/vehicles. Several receivers available. I like this Rx for waterproof ability. With a little trimming, it fits Yeti receiver compartment.

For nitro the temp censor unit function is perfect:

I have Futuba 4PK for crawlers, but all round I like MT4 the most.

I got my MT4S anniversary edition for $379. It came with 2 receivers and a limited edition carry case. It has a piano black finish with a red and black aluminum wheel. Feels great running my Yeti.

Ok, Airtronics gurus out there. I have an Airtronics MT-4 and have every RC car from a Slash to a Mugen MBX7R ebuggy. I just ordered the Trail Finder 2 and want to use the 2 speed tranny with the lever or a button, I think, and the winch with something else. What do you guys think. I have no clue yet on how to even program the radio to do this operation. So, i'm asking for help (Not Directions.......I can get lost all by myself, thank you.) Anyway, I have a 4 channel receiver that came with the MT-4 and plan on using it. Please advise. Thanks

Help, but not direction....

Yes, the 2 speed works great on the lever.

I like to use a button for anything that is 2 position, like a shift servo. The 2 point movement of using a button is consistent and easy. My favorite use of the lever is for a winch with a small ESC to control the it. The lever allows proportional speed control of the line going in and out which you can't do with most other radios.

That's interesting. How do you set up the lever to do speed and direction. I thought it had two points on and off up or down. Can you position it in the middle for a neutral? I do like the button idea for the 2 speed shift.

I forget the setting in the radio the 3rd or 4th channel has to be set to but there should be a point in the middle of the lever travel that you can feel it stop. That point is 0. As you move the lever in either direction, it either increases or decreases in steps to 100. You can calibrate a speed controller to the lever just like the throttle trigger.

Thanks for all the info. I am doing all the research before my Trails Finder 2 shows up in September.
