Yes, it is quite a good radio, but I can't for the life of me figure out what you are trying to say in your first post.

MT-4 here as well!

Running 1.9, 2.2s, 2.2p, super(soon), TF2, scx, Sexo(wraith), and a yeti.

All end points on the MT-4 are 150% and I haven't found a setup that the MT-4 can't handle!

Just got the MT-4s. Running 4ws and dig on a wraith so the rear thumb lever is great for the rear steer.

Looking for a new radio myself.

With the MT-4, can you assign one channel to two different switches?
Currently using a DX3R for my scaler. I have the winch controlled from two different switches, one is a three position linear control that allows in, out and stop control and the ability to control the speed of the winch, the other is a momentary push button that stops the winch if it is moving, and if the winch isn't moving, hitting it will pay the winch out at full speed. Can the MT4 allow me to do the same thing?

Also, trying to figure out what the differences are between the MT4, and the MT4S. I know the S has a backlight, but if that's it, it really isn't worth an additional $60.

Yes, you can assign 1ch to two different switches.

I like running the winch off the lever.. I'm not a big fan of buttons.

The difference's between the 2 are minimal on the outside and what's different on the inside, isn't really any help in our side of the hobby.

Bonus: backlight and smaller rx.. All I noticed between my 2 anyways...

Out of pure curiosity, can you disable/enable the lever with one of the other buttons. I use an mt4 on my xr10 and want to use it on my scaler so I can use the lever for the winch. However I know I'll bump the winch lever inadvertently and likely snap the winch cable.
If that's not an option, do you do anything to fail safe it?

Thanks

Re: mt 4 raido

I got mine set up like that. I think i got it set up as a button swtching between 0% and 100% dual rate for the channel the winch is on. Then the lever for winch.

Any model you want.. They all do the same thing. One just has a fancy wheel, one has back lighting, etc..

The plain Jane MT-4 is still serving me well. So well, I haven't even bothered switching over to my MT-4s!
