Holmes BLE reverse problem in a yeti ?

this may not be a problem at all but the Holmes tech thread is closed for help. i have a BLE and a pro puller installed in my yeti. i can not get the esc to program with the radio switch on my 4pk in the standard position. i have to reverse the switch to get it to program.

If you've got a castle link, plug it in and see if you can reverse the motor direction. I wish I was more help, but I don't have one (BLE) yet.

If it still has a stock axle, maybe, and its a stretch of a maybe, but you could try flipping the ring gear....I'm not sure if there is enough room, but maybe......

The only thing I know for sure is, when people buy curries, sometimes they have that issue, since the ring gear can only be fitted on one side of the pumpkin, they end up having to reverse their motors.

I think you can flip the ring gear. Some guy came into my LHS with 1 axle turning one way and the other axle turning the opposite way. He installed the ring gear wrong. But I'm thinking his was a wraith...I can't remember now :(

You have to reverse the throttle in futaba transmitters to calibrate the esc.

I had to do the same on my 3PL and the Novak Crusher ESC, also had to do it with both of my short course trucks, one with a Tekin RX8 Gen2 and the other with the RtR ESC.

In my experience with my 4PLS, Futaba's throttle channel needs to be reversed for what we consider "normal" operation. (Meaning, pull trigger = go forward & push trigger to front = go backwards)

It's a given reality for ANY futaba radio and Castle ESC (not sure on others). Since HH ESC's are based on Castle hardware and firmware, the same applies. You have two options.
1. Calibrate with your radio throttle on reverse, then go into Castle link and reverse motor direction at the ESC. DO NOT, I repeat DO NOT just flip the red and black (A and C wires). 3 phase doesn't work like a brushed motor.
2. Flip the ring gear to the other side on both the front and rear diff. On the Exo terra housing (same as a yeti) and the wraith axle housing (same as a yeti) you can flip them to get the wheels turning the right direction.

I recommend going with option 1. The esc led should show green in forward and red in reverse. If you just flip the gears it won't. I don't expect this hurts anything. But if you haven't been into the esc in castle link you may not have both forward and reverse directions set at 100%.
