Help trying to get this reverse under control. MAMBA MAX

I can't seem to figure this out. I've dropped reverse down to 50% and this thing is still violent and over sensitive in reverse. If I start dropping it below 50% its reverse torque drops considerably. My issue is that if I barely touch reverse it's at like instant 100% throttle. I tried adjusting the curve and it only affects forward.

Help?

Did you recalibrate it to the transmitter?

What transmitter are you using? Sounds like throttle/brake EPA. Set to correct levels for ESC calibration and then re-calibrate the ESC.

The transmitter is an AX-3.

Can't seem to find anything about end point adjustment for the AX3. Am I SOL?

The AX3 doesn't have end points. The two adjustments are the TH trim and the rev switch.

The TH trim should be set to center. With it in the center position you don't need the end points.

Check to see if the green light comes on the MMP comes on when you are putting the throttle trigger in the forward position.

If it doesn't then you need to change the position of the reverse switch.
If this causes the motor to go backwards and it is brushed/non-sensored brushless then swap the motor leads to get the motor to go the right direction.

The other things to try are to recalibrate the ESC/radio and check the motor type settings using a castle link.

AX3 instructions that shows controls and calibration process.
