| Hobbywing Xerun SCT
This weekend was my first hard run on my vaterra ascender. I'm running a hobbywing xerun sct on a tekin 21.5. Gearing is 86/18, castle b.e.c, and Savox servo. What happens is on steep climbs, it stalls out. Truck rolled down several climbs it should have made easy. Also, sometimes it just randomly stopped. I turn off/on esc and it works again. Any ideas? I'm running a Protek 4300mah 70c shorty. Mt4 radio. Thanks!

sensor cable?? I run a Hobbywing 10BL60-Sensored with a 2300kv ROC 412 geared 20/86 (in an Ascender), and everything is butter smooth! Drag brake is fine, start/stop on hills is fine. |

I'll swap the sensor cable. It would jitter on low speed...

Yeah, I had a problem that once the ESC was started on Sensored mode, if you disconnect the sensor cable, the ESC would freeze... But you can run it without the sensor cable just to test it! |

Buy the extra flexible sensor cable and get a spare while you're at it.
