You can get fancy and add a pos/neg back into the servo plug, then run those wire to an axillary device, so in my case they run to bumper lights.

I'm liking that idea, simple and compact. I love this servo at 6 cannot wait for 7.4

Everyone makes hooking up a bec setup so overly complicated. Lol. Just pick up HH rx bypass or make your own. Plug and play and your done, its that easy. |

| Re: ProModeler Servo: 420oz, billet case, o-ringed, $79 Agreed, a little over a year ago, I bought my first BEC and bought the Holmes bypass at the same time. It's the only way I've ever done it and it's just too easy. He even has those new ones with an extra auxiliary output to run lights or whatever and that frees up another spot on the RX or works great if you don't have a free channel.

Just buy a $1 Y cable on ebay and pop the red pin out of the RX end. Put some heatshrink over the pin and you're done. Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk |

I ordered two on Monday at 8am. Got shipping confirmation around 10:30! Received my package yesterday. I was so excited I ran into the house with my package like a kid on Christmas. Sat down at the kitchen table and opened my box of... ANTS!!! So many ants. I couldn't figure out why there would be hundreds of ants in the box. After squashing them and cleaning up I realized there was a candy in the box. Is this normal? I didn't get a chance to install it yesterday. So I can't comment on the actual product yet. |

Yeah, great story. I'm no longer allowed to open any package inside. I was told by the wife I either open it in the garage or outside before coming in. And that's a big NO on eating the candy, LOL!

Got mine (pro modeler 420v4) installed tonight. I am anxious to see how it does. I like the 25 spline on it better than 24 as I seemed to always have my horn slightly off center with a 24 whereas with this servo my horn is dead center and it's throwing equally to the right and left. I can't say enough positive about the man that sells and builds these and I hope the servo itself is as awesome. So here's my picture to add to this thread. Time will tell the real story for me; but initial impression and quick bash around the yard is good. Also I wanna give a shout out to WHITETRASH for informing me of these servos and Maslin who posted closeup pics of his servo mount flip, which I copied and it worked out great. Had to cut and rechase the threads on the horn screw as well as get special thin axial m3 nuts to clear my f9's cross brace but it worked well. Last edited by rngrchad; 08-30-2016 at 09:18 PM. |

I finally got to try out this servo, I previously ran a 7955 and all my other servos are hi-tecs so I had to get a new 25t horn. It seems like everyone likes the 25 better but I cant get it dead center? It doesn't matter anyway because the horn I got tweaked just running it in the yard. I'll have to pony up and get the axial one. I also noticed the extra height and just moved my link behind the arm, I know pics are nice but I don't have them right now. Also, I ran my bec at 8v on my 7955's (i also run one as a winch) Is this a problem? other than stripped gears, I never had a problem on the hi-tecs. Should I turn it down?
