| hobbywing 1060 with castle BEC not working
Well!! I'll make it short. I wired up a Castle BEC to hobbywing 1060 esc and for some reason it doesn't work. It'll turn on if I connect back the red wire to the esc but of I disconnect it wont. I tested it with red wire on and bec together and it still shows 5v not at 6 to where I set it to. Has anybody ever encountered this? I tried searching but to no luck.

Are you sure the link connection is complete and that both Link and Hardware displays are lit (connecting) ? Once set... did you click update ? did you remove (unpin) the red power wire leading from the esc to the rx ? ^ doing so shuts down the ESC's internal BEC only one BEC power source can feed the RX Last edited by TacoCrawler; 01-25-2016 at 09:26 AM. |
