Default Lighting issue

Deadbolt body. 2 front lights, 2 rear lights. wires matched. have a 9v battery and the pigtail. have a two way toggle. Wired battery pigtail and lighting wires together then on to the switch. insert battery. all works well. on & off. Problem... Battery "seriously" overheats. Any ideas?

Default Re: Lighting issue

What resistor are you running? 10-50 ma is all you typically need.

Nate

Voltage = Current * Resistance
