|  Tekin Redline Gen1 Motors
I have a Tekin Redline (Gen1) 13.5 in my Wraith paired with a MMP ESC. Was considering my options when I'm running in sand with my 2.8" Sand Paw paddles but I can't seem to find out what the max voltage of this motor is. Looking at the Tekin web site their Gen3 Redline motors 10.5 and up are rated up to 3S. Anyone know what the Gen1 motors can handle. I've run 4S no problem but was wondering if it can handle 5S. I've searched and searched and just cannot find data on the Gen1 motors. Thx...

Do you know the kv of the motor ? Do you know max rpm of motor ? Multiple the kv by voltage you intend on using and see if it exceeds the max rpm of the motor.... |

I wouldn't go over 4S if you care about it lasting. If you don't then go 5 and take video  |

 I had found the archive in the second link. The 13.5 is 3,500 KV BTW. I hadn't been able to find the archive in the 1st link. The chart confirms what I suspected. Looks like I've been pushing it with 4S, particularly when I'm running the big paddles since most of the run time is at full throttle. I don't really need the 5S just was getting a wild hair to try it. I don't feel the need to burn things up though.
