| Tekin RS Gen2 esc starting point Help
Hello, I am a first time Tekin owner. I have the ROC412 3100 kv with the RS Gen 2 esc, on 3s. I do have the hot wire, can someone give me a good setup starting point? Thanks Last edited by desertdude; 02-22-2016 at 03:11 PM. |

| Re: Tekin RS Gen2 esc starting point Help I can get you something from my RSX that should get you going. I but I can't do it until tomorrow. Also I'm running a ROC 412 1800 and I have the RSXset up the way I like the throttle to feel, you'll probably need to change some things. Do you have a Hotwire? If not you won't be able to get to some of the settings. |

| Re: Tekin RS Gen2 esc starting point Help I am learning the same thing! Tekin ESC's seem to be very advanced and can do a broad range of vehicle types all off the same controller. Seems like everyone runs Castle. I just picked up a Tekin RS gen 2, very small and seems like a great ESC, i just think it is way to advanced for my skill level.

Using my hotwire, starting with 3s cutoff, BL, F/R 60% dragbrake ,50% break strength, 0 push, 0 control, minimum brake, 0 active braking, 10 neutral width current limiter off 60 reverse 0 throttle minimum speed I'm not messing with the timing profile or throttle curve. Will report this weekend with how she went. |

Sounds good I need to get the Hotwire if I'm gonna run this esc. What are you running it in?

Spoke with Tekin, great customer service, my settings are good the heat problem was solved over the phone, when running 3s you need to disconnect the red wire from the esc, no more heat |
