Agree with mrG. I messed up a Hitec 7950 by trying to use the signal wire to the receiver without the ground.

i am planning on using the holmes rx bypass adapter and holmes bypass adapted with aux output and thats how i learned floating ground is a no no

if my lightbar takes 7.4v what should is it ok to run the bec at 5.1 or 6v or will that make the light too dim? ill post up what servos im using this afternoon because im not sure whether they can take only 6v or 7.4. i know the connectors are only rated for 5v. theyre both savox servos

thanks
