What KOH rear lights?

So, I'm in the process of making a Ibex ultra4 car and I ordered the Exo rear light bar and radiator (ax80103) and I'm having trouble trying to find Red and Amber lenses and the lights them selves.

Any body know where I can get some?

lighthouse leds has pre wired leds. I used them on my yeti. All you have to do si solder the leds together and then wire it into power. Axial doesnt make amber or red lenses. You would need to color them yourself with a sharpie or something.

So, I looked on there web site and they have tons of different options. This is what I have in my cart.

5mm 12v Pre wired flickering Amber 1

X1 5mm blue 12v

X2 red 5mm 12v

Will this work with what I have? And do they come with 12v plugs?

they dont come with plugs you need to wire them together. they are just pre wired with resistors.

Ok cool. Can I run them off of a 12v battery? And will the light it self fit in the housing? I

Yeah I looked at that. I don't really see the point. I have a Amber flashing light in my cart and ready to go.

And, I don't really wanna spend 40$...

Yes it should run off a 12v. I had mine on a 3s lipo. They fit perfectly.

Cool. I decided to go with a 9v battery just out if ease. Thanks guys for everything.

Clear plastic can be dyed also. Cool aid and boiling water. So long as it is not hot enough to warp the plastic. Also boil water first the transfer to a coffee cup then add plastic. Also food coloring. Rit dye is great for dyeing light color plastics to a darker color.

I was wondering about that. For the lenses, just made a pattern and cut it out on my parents laser (very lucky for that) and fits like a glove. A dap of super glue holds them in just fine.

Dang, that's cool...aid!!!

Tamiya also makes a translucent lens paint, fyi, for future use $3ea color...worth it IMO

That's good to know. That's part of why I made my own. 10$ for 2 clear lenses, when I need 4? I think that's a total ripoff
