You don't need a specific charger to charge 2 batteries at once. I use a Hobbyking ECO-10 200watt cheapo charger. It works, I'm not super fond of it, but it gets the job done. I use a parallel charging board. I can charge up to 6 batteries with this board. You hook up all your batteries, correctly, and select the amperage you need. Limited by your power supply / charger. The power supply needs to supply more than the max amps your charger pulls. The ECO-10 charger is a 10amp charger. My power supply is a 2zo-rc 47amp DC server PSU converted to power a DC charger. More than enough amperage. When selecting how many amps to use, you add up the mah of your batteries. If you have 2 4000mah batteries you can charge at 8amps for a 1c rating. 4amps for the 1 batt and 4 amps for the other. The equation is the same for other mah. 2200 + 2200 = 4.4amps You can charge higher than 1c ratings if your batteries can handle it. Instead of multiplying your mah rating by 1 use a different variable. If your batteries can charge at 5c rating use 5.. ETC. Hope that helps. EDIT: Chargers I like 10amp http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/s...arehouse_.html 20amp Waiting for this to be in stock personally http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/s...arehouse_.html Dual 20amp http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/s...arehouse_.html Parallel charging board https://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/...dproduct=71349 Quad chargers: 4x6 amp http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/s...arehouse_.html 4x20 amp http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/s...arehouse_.html All these chargers I've listed are DC chargers. Meaning a seperate power supply is needed. Commonly found are converted PC powersupplies. Cheap, reliable, easy to find. Not really, your limited to charging the same battery's. I can charge 4 different battery, 4 different cells and 4 different amp ratings. Or I charge 4 of the same batterys as a parallel one does. That's the way to go. |
