Default Upgrading esc

I was running a sidewinder 3 but it decided it didn't like me anymore.. only two months old and as soon as I plug in the battery the power cables get hot enough it burnt off some insulation.. so I want to upgrade.

I'm getting ready for a g6 event near me in PA. I have a 35t Holmes motor and a roc412. I'd like to get a esc that I could run both motors for different stages. I'm looking at the Novak eiger as its water resistant and is sensored. I was looking at a few tekin escs, the rx5 fxr and their brushed esc. My question is will the Novak hold up under 3s torture with an external bed and some lights. I mainly run 2-3s lipo.
