Default Tactic tr325 reciever

Hey guys, been a while but have a question I can't find the answer to. The Tactic TR 325 receiver that comes with the rtr Deadbolt, is it waterproof? Confused because it comes with a waterproof esc, but not sure about the receiver. And we all know the stock electronic box isn't even close to watertight. Just wondering.

From the Tactic Manual:

Quote:
Receiver: Mount the receiver as specifi ed in your model’s instructions. As a
guideline, mount in a secure location using double-sided tape. Route the servo
wires so they do not interfere with any moving parts. For boat applications,
it’s highly recommended to wrap the receiver in a balloon or enclose it in a
water-tight box.
I would say that it is not waterproof or water resistant.

You could get some conformal coating (Amazon sells it - I prefer the Silicone type) and improve it's chances. I coat all my electronics with it.
