Can anyone post some settings for their MMX with this motor?

30% punch, high startup power, 30% drag, put a nice curve on the throttle and brake.

Trying out combos is about the only way yall are going to figure out the limits. In a stock wraith with stock gearing, might work with lower kvs. Grab your 2200ish kv option running 3s.
Hi John, I already had puller pro 3500kv and loved it. And just placed another order from Amain Hobbies toady for the Puller Pro 2200kv with Robinson 32p 9t pinion( I already had 32p 56t spur gear in my heavy modified Wraith, with Lipo battery weight around with 3s 3.6KG to 2s around 3.8KG )

This time I am thinking to run my heavy Wraith on 4s 2500mAh with your Puller Pro 2200kv brushless motor, paired with Robinson 9t pinion and 56t spur gear.

Any thoughts, and suggestions?

Thank you

Use a 1/10 scale controller and no worries

I just gotta say this: You guys are GROSSLY underselling the whole brushless thing! My brother just put a Puller 3500kv with the Holmes ESC in his 2-speed Bomber and HOLY SH!T. On 3S it is almost uncontrollable! The tires balloon and send 20ft gravel rooster tails. I was blown away. We actually put a 2s back in it and then cut the throttle down to 60% to go crawling. If I had an extra $300 burning a hole in my pocket I'd have ordered a brushless setup from my phone on the trail! lol. Why do I keep getting into new and expensive hobbies!?

Default HH Puller Pro 3500kv standard owners?

Question for JRH.
Running with a BLE, went out yesterday on the rocks, new servo , had a thermal issue..... first time. esc showed thermal stopped running, checked temp later, motor 110, esc 120. I rarely see 105 on motor/110 esc.

I messed with the expo on brake setting, way up(80%) as I'm getting downhill rolling. Would this excessive curve cause my heat issue?
I thought more braking equals more heat ?

Will try 5 or 6S next time on my Puller Pro 540 2200kv

For people running the HH ST 3500kv, I don't see an option for 5mm shaft, are you guys using a 16T 1/8” gear then?

Thanks, I wasn't sure if people opt for the 5mm shaft or just used a 3mm pinion. Sorry, still learning about the new era of electric motors.

Most, if not all 540 BL motors use 3mm. And most, if not all 550 BL motors use 5mm shafts.
