How do I easily wire multiple lights to one battery?

Hello guys, it's been a while since I have been on here. I got an SCX10 JK kit 2 Christmas's ago. I had it built by last Christmas and took it out to Vasquez for about a half hour. Then last weekend I did a poker run with WCRCC and Proline and got some lights from RRC. I installed them at the event and soldered ALL of the light leads to one Deans plug and plugged it into an airplane 3S 2200 I had lying around at home.

I have a 5 inch light bar on the roof which is attached to the body. I have a 2 inch light bar on the stinger which is attached to the chassis. I have 4 rock lights which are attached to the chassis, as well.

What are the options to wire multiple lights to one battery? Is there some sort of plug box that can easily allow each light lead to be plugged and unplugged? The roof light bar was a pain because it was directly attached from the body to the Deans plug on the chassis.

Any help is appreciated.

I will add pictures of the rig via tapatalk. give me a minute

it would be awesome if all lights could just be daisy chained together...

im sure somebody has something better to say, but you could try something like this, however it still involves splicing servo leads to all the lights and routing all the wires to a central location.

Hope this helps.

There are light control boxes that allow you to plug multiple lights together. They even offer more operating functions like turn signals, brake, even high beam headlights.

Unfortunately, I do not have any links. But have you tried looking up "rc lights" or "rc lighthouse"? Maybe even look around You Tube

Good luck in your quest....

I just got done installing the axial NVS setup on 2 scx10's. Chose to make our own wire harness to separate the body and chassis. One of the jeeps is using a sub-d connector and the other is using a couple modified balance board plugs(with the clip). It's a nice system but has more wires than I had realized. Check out the heyok light controller too.

Re: How do I easily wire multiple lights to one battery?

Just know that if you want extra light features like turn signals, brights, brake lights, etc, your going to have more wires to deal with. The NVS plugs in between your esc/servo and the rx to get signal for those features. To mount the NVS on the body there was a total of like 14 wires going into the harness. I may try a different wiring method in the future to clean it up a bit but couldn't seem to find many options when it came to making it easy to plug/unplug.

Unfortunately this is the only pic I have of the wiring process. I'll try to get one of the final product later today. http://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/2016...ed6fcedbac.jpg

Wait, where am I?

I use one of these on my Dingo. Has headlights, taillights, reverse, and turn signals body mounted, fog lights, driving lights, and rear bumper marker lights chassis mounted.
