Default 'C' wire off of motor is getting hot, but not 'A' or 'B'

While out bashing the Yeti today it just stopped......I found the bullet conector had become unsoldered. I resoldered it and tested the truck at high speed for about a minute and then brought it in, the wire was definitely hotter than the other two so I resoldered all of the connections on that wire figuring that I must have a failing solder joint. Still no change so I pulled out the Mamba X and put in my RX8Gen2...no change that wire is still hot.

Pro4 HD 3500kV, Mamba X and RX8 Gen 2, Vant batteries, 6600mah 75C and 6500mah 75C

What's up???

Its possible there is a short in that coil on the motor....so heat build up is going to happen and cause the weakest point to fail (the solder joint)...

It seems to come and go. I just had a 20 minute bash and all wires were cool. I will just have to keep an eye on my temps. I have never seen it above 130 on my radio screen.

I will say that the raw power from the RX8 Gen 2 surpasses the Mamba X however the X wins because of it being waterproof. I didn't see the big mud puddle behind the dirt jump at the bike track and sure enough I ran right through it which means that I had to hose down the Yeti. With the 'X' I can go right back out and play but with the RX8 I will have to let it dry out overnight. (I have a glitch because my conformal coating needs to be redone)

well the Mamba is back in and I turned the wick up on the punch control from 70% to 100% and I must say that it is damn close to the RX8.

The wire is still getting hot while the others are cool but the power is all there, standing back flips are no problem. I guess that I will wait until the motor starts acting weird or the wire comes unsoldered again before I order a new one.
