Pretty Self explanatory. Allows you to use your lipo's (up to 6S) to charge your phone or any other USB accessory..

US$4.79|2-6S RC Lipo Battery USB Charger Adapter for 3.7V Mobile Phone USB Charger
(I don't think I'm violating any rules by posting that link to the items for sale listing - if I'm wrong, please delete this thread.)

Works brilliantly for me because my Nexus 5X really prefers a fast charge rate, and this unit outputs up to 3A @ 5V. Most external batteries I've tried won't even charge my phone unless the power is off but this thing charges nice and quick.

Just remember to bring a charge cord and never worry about dead batteries on your phone when you want to grab that perfect video loop.

Or, you could also use it to extend the amount of time you're out hunting for Pokemon's...

Needs some shrink wrap but that's pretty sweet. Might have to grab one.

Interesting. I've never seen that before.

I have been using the one from Amain for years. Handy as hell out camping or wheeling. I have used it to charge phones and iPads. I keep a couple of 6000 mah 2s batteries around just for this.

well this is a neat trinket. Would be helpful for camping or when out crawling my phone keeps roaming thus killing the battery considerably faster.

The one I received actually has shrink wrap wrap on it, apparently their picture just sucks..

Just like a few other people have mentioned, I've got a few 2S packs that I'll never run but they're perfect for charging devices..

I've been trying to think of all of the things I can charge while I'm camping now, phone, iPad, action cam, the cheap-o quad copter I have, the list goes on and on...

Cool, I've never seen one from an North American retailer. The one I linked appears to have a higher charge rate and input capacity though, offers up 5V@3A as opposed 5V@2A and takes up to 6S as opposed to 4S. Both are issues that probably don't matter to most people - in my case, I really like the 3A rate..

I checked both the one linked at the beginning and the Protek and read that both do 3A Max/Peak, continuous 2A. So only differences I see are the 4s vs 6s compatible and the Protek looks more streamline.

I did find some on amazon with a voltage display.

I also found that the good people at hobbyking have one (on backorder) and it has a LVC of 3v PER cell. HobbyKing™ LIPO to USB Charging Adapter and Cell Checker (2S~6S)

The Protek one only has a LVC of 6v total voltage which is specific to 2s only, so 3s and 4s you'd have to somehow know what voltage your battery is at to avoid over discharging it.
