Default Mmp and HH trailmaster alot of coging

I have a mmp and a trailmaster sport 2700. The sensor cable is in but i have alot of coging. Any suggestions on how to setup the esc for less coging?

First question is obviously do you have the sensor wire fully seated in both the motor and esc?

Do you have an extra sensor wire you can test with? I've had them go bad before.

What gearing did you use on the pinion/spur?

Can you take a snapshot of the mmp settings from castle link?

If setup normally, that combo should have little to no cogging.

Any pics or video is always helpful. Even off a cell phone and just upload using tapatalk. It creates the video on Vimeo for you.

I ran a trailmaster in my scx10 with stock gearing previously and it was not nearly smooth enough to compare to my brushed motors. I attribute that to the 2-pole configuration. I switched to a 4-pole tekin roc412 and it was night and day better low end and no cogging.

I have seen people get pretty good results with the trailmaster though. Something to consider would be what is your throttle curve like? I typically make mine concave/curved to help with the low end.

Il make a video and post screenshoot of my settings. The cable is seated correctly that's why I said that the sensor cable is in. There is settings needing sensor cable and they are grey when cable not in using the mmp software.
