Talking Problems with ESC???

I am having problems with the electronics on my high lift:-(
When I plug the battery in(tested two different ones) the truck wont go any where but it keeps making a loud beeping sound and then all of a sudden it will jam into reverse and fly bacwards. I cant solve this problem do you think it is the ESC
I am rinning:
LRP Ai runner reverse
TQ3 system
Stock silver can motor

This thing is making a really bad name for itself on this board.

I suspect therein lies your problem.

I had one of those AI Reverse units in a TLT last year.. Worked fine for me, no probz, but they guy I traded it to is having issues with it.. 50% of the time he plugs it in and it wants to work backwards... I remember at the comp we had on the island watching him plug it in and off a few times to get it goin'... I think it has to do with that auto-centering crap and such they have... They seem to just up and flake out whenever they feel like... Reminds me of alot of the wimmin I've dated over the years................

yea the LRP ai reverse is probably the most problematic esc of the lot

did you try running the truck w/a different esc? just to see if it's ur transmitter tripping out?
