In a scaler, used for scale comps I have been using Turnighy Bolt batteries. They are high voltage lipo batteries. They seem thinner and over all lighter, the 500's get me through a course time limit 6 minutes. Hobby King lists 850's as well- but I have not found them in stock. Before I parted with my shafts Nightmare the 500's fit on the battery ledge with room to spare. Hope this helps some.

Don't you need a special charger for the Bolt batteries?

I use team brood pure energy in my comp rigs and scalers for comp courses.

450-500mah 3S in the pro and 800mah 4S in the scalers

I run G-Force 3s 500mah lipos and they have been great! They are inexpensive and you can get them from ValueHobby.com

Nano-tech's. Inexpensive and work great. 370's or 460's will finish a 6 minute course with out a problem
