Hobby wing 1080 brushed programmable I've scoured the electronics forum on here and I can't find any thread on this esc so I'm assuming it's fairly new. http://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/2016...c1ad77054c.png It is like a 1060 but much better with the programming capabilities. I'm mostly interested in the higher bec output at a peak 7.4v. http://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/2016...88be82e82e.pnghttp://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/2016...b75f650454.png Here is the specs as stated on Amazon. http://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/2016...8532727d7c.png What are your thoughts on the new contender? Maybe a castle creations competitor. I might even end up with one in my ascender. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
Re: Hobby wing 1080 brushed programmable It just came out yesterday. I think one guy preordered one. I have high hopes for it. I've had great luck with my AE-5's in the SCX10 and SCX10 II, which are based on the 1040/1060? The 1080 has a better BEC and the included program card. Hell, if I knew this was coming, I would've waited because the AE-5 was the same price. |
Re: Hobby wing 1080 brushed programmable Very interested. Let us know if the internal bec works well Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N900A using Tapatalk |

That's one of the main reasons as I think it will allow people who can't solder to be able to run high torque servo's. I am one of them lol. Also, my current esc which is the dynamite waterproof that the 1060 hw quicrun is based on has a ground wire going out on the inside I believe. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
Re: Hobby wing 1080 brushed programmable I have one pre-ordered. The WP1060 is awesome and I expect this to be even better. |
