QUICRUN WP 1080 brushed ESC (2-3S) With castle Bec hi, just want to ask how to wire the castle bec with this esc? I wired mys sidewinder3 befor but this will be my first time with hobbywing. Thanks |
Re: QUICRUN WP 1080 brushed ESC (2-3S) With castle Bec you should be able to wire it just as you did with your castles esc....the BEC doesnt care what esc its wired to... |
Re: QUICRUN WP 1080 brushed ESC (2-3S) With castle Bec Personally I don't think you need a BEC with this ESC unless you're using a power hog servo. But if you choose to use a BEC with this ESC just remember to disconnect the red wire. |
Re: QUICRUN WP 1080 brushed ESC (2-3S) With castle Bec Or use Holmes Hobbies RX Bypass harness, much better. You can make your own but for this price, just buy HH. :) RX Bypass Adapter - Wiring & Wiring Accessories - Electronics & Wiring |

Re: QUICRUN WP 1080 brushed ESC (2-3S) With castle Bec Bec needs full battery power, so yes. |
Re: QUICRUN WP 1080 brushed ESC (2-3S) With castle Bec Yeah, Really no need unless you're using a power hungry servo. This has a 7.4v BEC built right in. Makes life simple. |
Re: QUICRUN WP 1080 brushed ESC (2-3S) With castle Bec Nice they built-in hd bec, anybody brown it out yet? If yes, what servo and what were you doing? |
Re: QUICRUN WP 1080 brushed ESC (2-3S) With castle Bec Im using a D772 and have yet to have a issue. Not really a power hungry servo though. I want a Promodeler, that will be the test I imagine. |
