Default LIHV cells

OK so I just bought a couple BASHER LIHV 6600mah 7.6v 2s lipos from hobbywing, on first charge 1 of them has only reached 8.30 on my core-rc charger (uac-40) when usually my 2.s cells reach 8.40. Now should I send them back or try balancing them first ? It's they're first charge. I know these cells are capable of 8.7v and my charger won't reach that high but I still thought they would of at least reached 8.40. Could they be faulty or do I just need a different charger ?

There are severe problems! Charges fine then the numbers jump around and says voltage error. I need to send hobby King a few pictures for warranty and this isn't going to cut it I don't think !

yup...thats what it shows on balance charge right? it didnt show that on regular charging? I am not familiar with your charger but if thats the case, just another reason to balance charge every time...

It's the same as the imax b6 charger. I always balance charge, I see no reason not to, just didn't expect to need to cycle a new cell. It appears normal after an evening of charging/discharging, so am gonna give it a blast on a while and see how it fares. Watch this space.....

Well several cycles which I honestly don't expect to have to do with a new battery and everything is fine.
