Default quickrun 1080 esc settings

ok, so I bought the quick run 1080 esc and am wondering what the settings should be for crawling. Those of you running it, do you stick with the default settings or do you change them? I left it all default for the time being until I can run it.

I've played around with the settings quite a few times with different motors now.

I'd maybe suggest these settings to be changed by default

3. Lipo Cutoff.
Default is option 3 (medium) - i would set it to 4 (high)

9. Drag Brake
I set my drag brake to 50% so my truck can roll very slowly down steep slopes (default is 100%) but like a lot of the settings truck weight, gearing, motor, style of driving etc will all determine what's best for each truck and each driver.

10. Drag Brate Rate
This controls how aggressively the drag brake kicks in.
I put mines to option 1 (softest setting) so rather than my truck lifting the back wheels when the drag brake comes on at speed, this allows it to come in graduall and softer. Almost works like ABS on loose downhill driving.

13. PWM Frequency
Default is option 4 (8k) With this my ESC had a slight whine pulling away at slow speeds. I put it to option 5 (16k) and now it's complety silent. Unless your ESC is getting really hot (which would surprise me) then 16k is fine.

15, Freewheeling mode
Default is disabled (option 2)
I can't remember exactly what it does, but think it helps with temps at low speeds with it enabled so i put mines on. - option 1

I also put my start force on max (9) for more grunt/torque off the line. Stock settings were absolute fine though. Put on active freewheeling as it helps keep things cooler for crawling apparently.

For crawling you want a good amount of start-up power since you will be on rocks constantly. Set your drag brake / drag brake rate to ("9" max), you want the drag brake to hold as quick as possible to maintain position on climbs.
