Default Bastens winch controller

Does anybody have personal experience with this winch controller?

Did you use it with a servo winch or a scale winch?

Was it worth it? Did it work well for you? Would you have preferred something else?

Bastens Winch Control module works with either 2Ch or 3Ch transmitters

That looks overly complicated for what it is. Plus, the wiring mess that thing will create will be fun to tame. I just use a 1/18 scale ESC as a winch controller.

Yeah but you probably use another channel on your Rx to control it

The point of this module is to allow 2 channel controllers to have a functional winch, or in my case, I could keep the 3rd channel for my 2 speed transmission and with this I wouldn't need to buy a 4 channel Tx/Rx.
