Default Hobbywing Xerun XR8 SCT Brushless ESC G2 Combo (3100kV)

Anybody used one of these as an alternative to the roc412 or castle motors and esc? I've been on the hunt for a good sensored esc and motor combo for my trail rig. I loved hobbywing electronics in my race buggy days.

I've got the combo with a 3660 g2 3200kv in my bomber and it feels comparable to my mmp/roc412 in my wraith. Bomber weighs about a lb or so less both are on the heavier side.

Good to know. It's going in my scx10.2 that is heavy as hell. How is the low end. The 3660 looks like a 550 motor so my guess is not quite as good as a 540 but is it still crawlable?

It is a 550 and surprisingly is feeling just as good as the 540 roc412 in my wraith. Had to get an aluminum motor mount to keep the torque from slightly moving my motor shaft while running. I don't think you will be dissapointed but what one likes another could hate. Good luck in your choice!
