Glitching indoors but not out >>

It's not a real big issue because I just play aroundi indoors (when my wife's not home of course) but I get severe glitching inside. Outside all's well.

What kind of things cause the interference...wireless routers, tv remotes, etc.? Are these probable culprits?

I notice that it occurs more often in reverse and if I've got the steering turned hard. That make any sense? I'm real new to RC in general and very new to crawling. Just bought a used 2.2 SW2 build from a local guy and I'm loving it. Just curious what kinds of things cause glitches indoors.

I have found that cell phones and wireless modems can interfier also.

I've noticed the flourescent lights too. Also mine reacts to the refrigerator when the motor/compressor is running if I drive too close to it.

The AC wires in the wall cause interferance as well. Espcially if you have a wire that is coiled a bit. Any motor, generator, compressor, transformer, or electronic item will throw out EMF.

I drove my TLT with my FM radio, I drive everywhere aroudn my house, phones, cell phones, comp and modem, in kitchen, garage with flourscent lights ETC!

Was your mom using her vibrator at the time?

TLTCrawlin 01-31-2007 06:57 PM

No that was my sister, were you looking through the bathroom window agggaiin?

When running in the house, do you have the antenna up all the way? Seems the transmitter works best with a certain antenna length. I hate driving in the house with the antenna all the way up, but I get more glitches with it down.

Since no one else mentioned it, if you are on carpet, that is a high traction surface and will cuase everything to work harder and you could possibly be overtaxing your BEC if in a bind against a couch or wall.
