Default Wraith rtr lights on 3rd channel switch

Will factory axial wraith lights shut off and on if you plug them into the the third channel . What is the little box in the wiring , just a junction point.

Are you still using the Axial transmitter and receiver? And if you are in order for the lights to be controlled by the transmitter you have to have something like the Heyok light controller and a extra switch on your transmitter. The little box thingy in the wiring is a simple light controller,which is only to make the lights work. If you don't want to go through the trouble of adding an extra switch,then I would upgrade to a different receiver and transmitter with a 2-3 position switch. Do some research on the forums and you'll find some excellent guidance from folks that can explain it better than I can.

If you have a 3rd channel on the transmitter (and not just the receiver), you can use something like this Dr. Madthrust switch. I used it to control the light bar on my son's Circuit body in the video below. It works great.
