Charge it first. And if your charger is capable of it, run a storage charge cycle when you're done if you won't be using it again within the next few days. And then charge again before next use.

Unfortunately i've got one of the most basic LiPo chargers out there, an Etronix one, so all i can do is charging :P

Get a better charger or/and a LIPO Checker. So far storage load is aprox 55-60% If your charger Show this.

Basic functions a charger should have: Charge discharge storage.

Lipos MUST be charged before first use. Otherwise you'll ruin it.

Yep a charger that can do the above is a must for Lipos, otherwise they will be a potential danger.

That's if the battery is already flat. Gens Ace are given a decent storage charge and hold juice better than most lipo brands.

Check the voltage with a batt meter or DMM, if it's 3.7-4.0v or higher then store it til the day you need it. No harm comes from charging a lipo mid-way thru the discharge (unless it's still HOT from use). Leaving it sit fully charged for more than a day above 4.0v will slightly decrease the battery's overall life. Used batteries can sometimes puff when long-term stored full.
