DX5C Settings ??

I can't seem to figure out how to program aux1 to turn lights on and off - they light up plugged into the receiver but won't turn on and off with the radio.

You need a lighting controller like a heyok switch or similar. The receiver puts out voltage to all aux ports all the time, the signal wire is what tells the servo, esc, etc to do what you want. You need a lighting controller that can be told on or off and that will turn the lights on and off.

You would think the radio manual would mention that - it even mentions controlling lights. Ha ha.

Haha thanks for asking this, its a different question but the same answer.

I have a 6 channel radiolink, very similar to your radio.
I finally wired everything up last night and my servo winch just said WEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!! Hahaha luckily i already had some line paid out, it would have eaten itself!
After messing with all kinds of settings for ch 3 (that ch has a knob, perfect for variable winching in either direction!), i gave up and... well found this thread lol

I spoke with heyok a while back about winch controllers and light controllers. I need to revisit those options.

Also, with all this in mind, how do i control ch4, push button toggle for my 2 speed servo? I have it set for on/off, will this throw a servo left and right, given i set end points? I dont have a spare servo to try it. Suppose i could test with my installed steering servo?
