Default Brushless motors

I want to make my axial wraith go through more snow. I have a 27 turn motor, it works fine but I want a little more power. I am thinking of buying a Traxxas vxl system or an axial vangaurd motor. Which one will be better?

with either of those choices be ready for broken drive line parts if you are running stock and there will be some cogging at low speed since neither are sensored

Do you think maybe a lipo battery will be a better choice?

Lipo would be a much better choice, even low-end lipos offer less voltage drop than nimh. They're also a lot lighter. The down side is they require more user care. Nimh can be treated with almost no regard for it's health, as long as it's not shorted out or discharged too far.

Nimh sucks. Get a 3s lipo and you'll be one happy wraith owner!
