| Gearing question
I know this has been asked a thousand times and I have read multiple articles but I'm having a hard time figuring out what size pinion I should run. I have a 13t crawlmaster going in a gelande ii with 4.09" tires. The stock gearing is a 14t pinion 64t spur. I just don't want to burn anything up using the wrong gears. Thanks for any help and info.

Start with a small run and monitor motor temperature. Then go up or down pinions Sent from my Nexus 6 using Tapatalk |

I am in 5.0:1 on my SCX10 II slow speed even in 3s. But the good news is my brushed motor NEVER got hot.
