Default Axial AE-5 Question

I'm purchasing an Axial Wraith Spawn very soon...my first crawler! I have a Rustler and I would prefer to use the same batteries/charger. The Axial site says the AE-5 comes with a "standard" or "star" connector...thanks!? lol....what exact connecter does it come with? Can I find an adapter to use Traxxas batteries/plugs? Is that sacrilegious?

Adapter combinations (try ebay) are available for just about any connectors. Or, remove the connector from the ESC and add your own Traxxas connector. Some people suggest it is not a good idea to have a bunch of connectors ganged together as electrical resistance is usually increased doing this.

I have adapters for just about every connector available and carry them on the trail with me. If someone needs to borrow a battery I can usually supply an adapter for whatever battery and ESC combination to get them going again. Not everyone uses the same connectors but almost everyone I usually trail/crawl with use Deans.

the star connector is a deans style and works fine with deans connectors. go to ebay and get an adapter that goes from deans to traxxas...I have done it and had zero issues now for several years.

It comes with a deans style plug there are adapters made, or you can just make one yourself. The Wraith is a great platform!
