Default Hitec battery charger problems

I have had this high tech for little while now charges two batteries at once. I was charging a 2200 3s for tomorrow and said in an internal temperature high. Does this mean my battery is damaged and should be disposed of? Not that old thanks a lot

If the battery doesn't have an additional little cable for a temp sensor then it was probably the charger that was hot. What model number is it?

Judging by post 125 & 126, it might be defective. The Hitec rep indicated this guy send it back when his charger give the ext. temp high error repeatedly.

Try charging it outside, it should be cold enough in NJ to cancel this error if it refers to internal charger temp.
