Default New Castle Mamba X (sucessor of Mamba Max Pro)

Looks like Castle will release the sucessor of the Mamba Max Pro soon.
In the CastleLink software is already available the demo mode of the new ESC and also showing in the Mamba revision history:
Mamba Firmware Revision History

At least we can expect a factory waterproof esc just like all the "X" line

That's the only prof I have:

And it also will have the aux wire like the other "X" models too:

The auxiliary wire really is the best new feature to be added to ESCs in years! I assume they will put this wire on pretty much all of their top of the line ESCs at any scale.

It'd be nice to have what is (hopefully!) an essentially smaller version of the Mamba Monster X, with the Aux wire.

Time to hold off replacing a MMP w/o a sensor port, I will try to see if castle will update it for the repair charge

I can say that the aux port is SUPER nice for drag brake on ch4 on my 4pl. Nothing like adjustment on the fly to be able to finally, really, tune it in.

I would love to add that to the Yeti, only thing I need occasionally is more drag brake, but not full time

Get the Mamba Monster X, it's the perfect size and power for the Yeti.

Too much for mine, I don't bash, more crawl. I do bash with a non sensored 2650 and MM2, and love it !

I crawl with my Mamba Monster X and it's awesome. Very interested to see this new ESC and what it has to offer. One of the best features of the MMX is no need for an external BEC. Hopefully they beefed up the internal BEC on this new one too.

Aux wire, 8amp internal BEC, waterproof. All the best parts of the MMX in a smaller package. I'll have one for sure.

I was waiting for that when I got the Mamba Monster X for my bomber, but I don't regret it.
The Mamba X will be perfect for a SCX10II that I may build one day...

So this requires a sensor harness like the micro and monster?

Does any body have this yet. It looks exactly like what I need for the scx10 2.
Glad I didn't get another mm pro .
