Default CC Slate Motor Selection

I have a 1900kv and a 2850 kv. I just picked up an exo terra and I was thinking about running the 1900kv on 4’s vs the 2850 on 3’s. Anybody have an opinion? I’m guessing neither is an ideal motor because of the shorter can but it’s what I’ve got.

I have the 2850kv and the 3800kv slates my. Buddy has the 1900kv and the 2250kv slate id prefer the 3800kv for speed she was a beast for a mud pig. I run the 2850 on 3s and theyres tons of power gear for 80/20 i couldnt imagine on 4s. Are u running a mamba x? If so make sure the motor temp cutoff is 180*F then ur safe for pretty much any kinda testing

Yeah mamba x. Heat is what I was worried about with the 1900 on 4’s. I’m not 100% sure but I that I read these motors were tuned for crawlers and not necessarily speed because of the slightly shorter rotor. Similar to the Holmes stubby.
