Default New esc help

I just swapped my esc from a hh brxl to a mamba x and now after i use the power switch to turn off the rig the wheels jump full left. I have no idea what is going on. It is a new shv500v2 with the jst lead soldered to the battery lead at the plug if that helps. Also using a futaba 3pv

So the servo is wired directly to the battery? The power switch is only turning off the ESC and receiver, not the servo!

Always unplug your battery, whether you use the on/off switch or not. You could easily drain the battery past the LVC otherwise.

Make sense since the battery is directly connected. This is the first time I've hooked a servo up like this and my last esc didn't have an on\off switch

What I would do is remove the switch and solder the leads, heatshrink , done. Now you always will disconnect,! Also great time to switch to a XT60 from Dean
