Can glitch buster capacitors cause excess heat?
 
Say in the esc or battery?

Nope, they don’t even get warm.
Heat starts at the mesh and goes thru the driveline.
Motor/ esc issues are usually improperly set or assembled.

What temps are you seeing or no temp gun ?

Some servos (Savox) can cook many esc’s built in bec. I’ve had that on a couple , notably SW3’s from castle , caused by bad EP setting (operator) and hard use at 6v (servo)
