I'm with you Paul, I love my NB4, it is turning out to be a great No Prep Drag radio. With the firmware update being able to use the channel speed feature for the throttle and steering is a big plus!!!

PS hope we get to see you at Nates tomorrow.

Has anyone else looked at the Noble NB4 Pro? It looks like it has some cool features, like the 3 stage throttle speed programing. Us drag guys could put that to good use.

I had considered it but the new features didn’t seem to add up to the major price jump for me. I have a Sanwa radio that already covers my needs for a radio with ridiculously fast response rate with more tuning settings than I’ll ever use so that appeal is lost on me. The 18 channels was the most tempting feature but I know I’ll never realistically need that many.

Ultimately I picked up an original Noble with 5 receivers on Black Friday for about half the cost of the Pro.

Thanks for your input SVT, I have a NB4 and really like it. For $200 I don't think you can find a better radio. I did pull the trigger on a new Pro, just got it yesterday. If I had a Sanwa I probably wouldn't have done it either, but I had a great weekend at a Christmas Art show and decided to upgrade my Drag radio. In order to get throttle control feature in a ESC it would have cost me around $230 so that made up the difference for the Pro.
I will update when I get a chance to use it.
