| Savox servo
I'm building bully 2 comp crawler. Looking at savox servos, they have the monster torque servo. Is this a good choice? What other choices are good? How does the holmes hobbies servo perform compared to the savox monster torque servo? Thanks Snyds Last edited by snydas1987; 11-25-2018 at 04:00 PM. |

The savox 2290SG is one of the best reviewed servos for crawlers out there. I personally would also consider the promodeler 630, but I haven't seen much in the way of reviews on it yet.

Oh hey, the white trash sign just went up! If you're looking at savox don't waste your time with anything orange & black. They're mostly junk, a few decent ones slip through and people praise them but for the most part stay away. The aforementioned 2290sg is a bad ass servo. It is my current go too servo for everything. It is pricey but the strength and peace of mind are nice. I need to order a promodler 630, it looks like a real nice piece for damned sure. |

Love that 2290sg servo. What's the comparison compared to the holmes hobbies servos? Love The look of the black edition monster torque servo tho, in performance n the look will match my bully 2 build perfectly |

Savox 2290 is my go to servo. The Promodler 630 has only been on the market for a few weeks so not very much time for reviews to be posted.

| Re: Savox servo I so wish I would have gone that route but, I didn't want to have to buy a BEC, and now I'm regretting not doing it the right way.

I love my 2290 and my 420 and 470. For a Bully you won’t need the 2290, the 470 will be perfect I run Dlux brass knuckles on my Bully and the 420 was more than enough. Hang up and Drive |
